Baby Eczema
It is really hard for the parents to see their baby suffering from baby eczema. The babies can be as younger as six months old when they can get affected by eczema. Causes
In many cases, baby eczema develops as a result of hereditary issues. It can even develop when the baby is only 2-3 months of old. However, there is no definite parameter that can clearly explain or predict whether a baby will suffer from eczema or not. Both irritant (prolonged outburst) and allergic (immediate) conditions are common among babies suffering from eczema. However, if diagnosed with one type, likelihood is there that the baby will develop the other type as well.
Treatment

Moisturizing is absolutely essential to avoid itching sensation and to get rid of all discomforts related to the drying skin condition. Bathing baby in lukewarm water can help baby’s skin to retain moisturizer. You must not rub the skin of your baby, but pat it to dry.
Doctors suggest mothers to put cotton clothes on their babies. It is highly discouraged to use woolen or synthetic materials, because it worsens the skin condition even more. Keep your child in a dust-free environment. Although pets can be a good playing partner for your kids, but their hair can cause allergies and skin irritation for your child. So keep pets away from your baby, especially if he or she is suffering from baby eczema.
